This barrel back is able to turn your stock Mini GS or Axe 2 piece barrel into an insert barrel. Also, the overall length will change from 14" to 15" with this barrel back. Any version of the PWR inserts are able to be used with this back. So if you have a color matched tip for your Empire Mini or Axe, this will allow you to retain and use the stock tip with this barrel
